R. Stevie Moore is a legend. Home recording music since the early 1970s. In 1976 he released the - later in his career - critically acclaimed debut album "Phonography". Especially Ariel Pink who is a great admirer of RSM´s work helped him a lot by getting the word out about this spectacular good music and taking Stevie on the road for the first time in his career.

This 7" includes "The Winner", an old RSM classic, originally recorded and released on tape in the mid 70s. Re-recorded with his current band out of Brooklyn, NY. On the flip side we find a brand new RSM original. "National Debate" exclusively written for this 7". Also backed by the same band.
